The loss of her first husband to multiple sclerosis following a prolonged debilitation gives Sharon a unique insight into the importance of effective financial planning in an uncertain world.  Her educational background and professional experience give her the knowledge and tools to help her clients plan properly for the future.

Sharon has over 15 years of experience serving business owners, individuals, and families in the areas of financial planning, business continuity and estate planning. She develops detailed financial models to assist in the evaluation of her clients’ current financial situation and devises strategies to achieve short and long-term goals. Sharon holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Life Underwriter. As a Registered Representative with FMN Capital Corporation and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative of FMN, she holds a Series 7 and 65 securities licenses and a Life/Disability Insurance License.  This background, together with her personal experience and the collective experience at Financial Management Network, provides the in-depth knowledge of financial, legal and taxation issues, that serve as the underlying rationale for plan design and funding recommendations.

Before starting Integrated Planning Solutions and joining FMN, Sharon served as Vice-President for a private company, Atlantis Financial Group, providing financial analysis and recommendations on a variety of estate and business planning matters. She also served as Assistant Vice-President for a NYSE company, National Financial Partners. There, she developed key partnership initiatives for financial services firms and their professional advisors, including CPAs and attorneys. Through this role, Sharon realized that truly effective plans capable of providing maximum protection for a client’s estate, family, business and legacy can only be created through close collaboration between all of a client’s advisors.

Sharon’s goal is to help her clients build upon the level of wealth they’ve already achieved, protect it for their enjoyment today, and preserve it for the enjoyment of loved ones tomorrow. She recognizes that different families have different planning needs, and provides the level of personal service and technical expertise necessary to meet them. For Sharon, the most rewarding aspect of her work is that it allows her clients to worry less about their financial futures and instead focus on what is most important to them in life.

Music is a particular passion as Sharon holds degrees in music education and music performance. She shares this passion with her son, Brandon, a violinist. Sharon and her husband, Keith, reside in Laguna Niguel. Together they are raising their five boys, ranging from college-age to a toddler. Sharon and Keith are active in the kids’ activities but most importantly, are enjoying watching each of their children grow.
