Steve was a member of the U.S. Olympic Volleyball team from 1986-88 but did not make the Seoul Korea Olympic roster. He was a two-time NCAA Volleyball Champion at Pepperdine University from 1985-86, (he was the NCAA MVP in 1986) and a team member of the Maccabi Games in Israel in 1983 playing for the USA finishing 3rd. He also played professionally in Switzerland from 1988-90 while playing in dozens of European countries. When physically able to Steve continues to compete several times a year in various age group events. He has compiled well over 120 tournament victories over the last 40 years between Beach/Sand/Indoor Volleyball collectively. In the largest event every year, the USVBA Int. Open Volleyball Championships, he has brought home the Gold (in his age group) an amazing 12 times while being named All Tournament 15 times and the MVP 7 times. Most recently in June 2022 in Orlando, FL, Steve's 50's team won the Silver and in the 55+ division they took home the Gold. He was voted 1 of 6 All American status in both divisions and was the MVP of the 55+ division, all while turning 60 in January himself. In July of 2022 his 50+ team traveled to Zurich Switzerland for an Int. Invitational Tournament. Team USA brought home the Gold beating Germany in the final, and Steve was voted the tournament’s MVP. He will be the first to admit he has personally been recognized more than deserved and more than most, but he will tell you it’s the team that makes him look good. “The key to our victories in the SR. tournaments/games is resting your better players till the playoffs and without my entire team this wouldn’t be possible for players 7-12 carry a huge load getting us to the playoffs so players 1-6 can shine when its most important”.

He often says, "Teamwork is Dream work"

Steve’s accomplishments and winning history as a dedicated team player continue to help him to collaborate and motivate with his clients to reach their fullest potentials, goals and successes both personally and professionally. He feels a similar synergy with the FMN Team (like above) who help him to look good with all the behind the scenes with ongoing preparation and research for his financial clients who are in the stock market. There is a 5 legged stool with the FMN team and I being the face (yet only one of the legs) with the clients, get more credit than deserved.

But, Steve will tell you that his greatest accomplishment is being married to his lovely wife Donna for 36 years, and being the father of his two sons: Phillip 28 is a UCI Mechanical Engineer graduate who working for LivCor, a Blackstone Company.
